I know I have been quite inactive the past month, alot of private stuff going on and upcoming exams, but I will try to be more active again from now on. Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

noooo, why whyyy! , why can it be julyy!<o< gosh, i need more  holidays ....buahh TT_TT...nyanyaa I wish we were already in summer, then..maybe..*_* i would  be in one of gazzete's, naito's, merry's or diru's concerts in europe>o<, though i don't even know where they would be, but, i'm just so looking forward to it! i need to save money!<o<! omgosh i need some job kyakyaa<o<.
Ahhhh.....i'm still with the reituki stuff ^^ jeje, someone offered to do a fic for my pics kyaa, ##cool, i'm so happy, my love for jrock fics is incerasing day by day...there are someones that are just  *_* pure love, really.

This weekend i'm going shopping with some friends things for yomi's Livevil cos,hehe...after this i guess i'll start sewing ruki's Zakurogata cosplay, cus i'm as slow as a turtle sewingXD need time to do it perfect!  cuz ruki deserves it !, but i'll wait till september to dye my hair .

I dont want summer to come yet XD cos I'd be like noooo got no money for concerts and I would die if I couldn't see Gazette D: it was bad enough when I couldn't see dir en grey in berlin and all my friends did. Luckily they played again in paris so I had time to save up and it was around my b'day too X)
But Gazette and Merry I look most forward to seeing : D and diru if they come again. Kagerou are playing in april as well and OMG I wanna see them too XD. I've seen them live before and they are one hell of a live act. Best i've seen tbh. in terms of fanservice and energy. I hated how most ppl treated them like an opening act though and were only there to see D'espairs Ray cos I love them both XD.

God I am addicted to fanfics on livejournal @__@ totally addicted XD I get annoyed when I dont see any to read D:
but dir en grey fanfics are a no XD I just cant see them like that. Gazette are always good though I actually read any fic that involves Ruki XD.

And you also have to show your cosplay when you do it XD. Least you can actually sew though :0 I just suck at it and I hate that cos there's loads of outfits I'd make if I could XD. My friends want me to be Disorder Ruki in August at an anime con*they're planning a disorder team or at least Reita and Aoi* but ahh I cant afford it XD; I really need a job too ._.
